In 2019 we went to Nepal to met with new suppliers and to introduce Pure Cashmere into our brand. We love Cashmere and love selling it to you and I wanted to make sure that I was aligning myself with the right businesses and for my customers to have absolute faith in what they were purchasing from Distinct Impressions. For us to create business relationships in Nepal, the business had to tick a lot of boxes. The product must stand out (have a uniqueness), be of good quality, be affordable and the business must be honest, ethical, and contribute to the community.
We were introduced to @Keshab Raj Pandey and before long we were made to feel welcome in his company. Keshab owns a world-renowned Cashmere manufacturing and retail business in Nepal. He employs over 60 people and does not employ child labour. During this Covid 19 Pandemic, Keshab has supported all of his employees and runs a safe, clean and happy workplace. I am thrilled also to say that a decent percentage of the profits from his family business goes to support the Disabled Newlife Center Nepal. The Disabled Newlife Center Nepal support disabled and disadvantaged children in Nepal.
He started his family business over 20 years ago and since the very beginning, his vision was to provide people with the best possible quality of Cashmere Pashmina. He is very passionate about his company and the Cashmere industry and since meeting him 2 years ago I have felt comfortable working with him. He is a great advocate for quality and properly representing what you are selling.
We have been selling his products for 2 years now, so what has changed. – We have decided to put more of an emphasis on Cashmere products going forward and have chosen Keshab and his family business to align ourselves with. Keshab has many beautiful quality products which we will be introducing to you over the next couple of months. They are exquisite and of premium quality all at various prices. When introducing them to you I will do my very best to help you understand the individual quality and price point that I am presenting to you.
It is truly a pleasure to be working with someone as committed and passionate about their industry.
You may at this point be asking what about the Women’s Foundation of Nepal. We will still support the Women’s Foundation where we are able and we will bring you more of their products in the future.
